Rachel has been the cattle clerk at Thomas County Feeders since December 2000. Rachel first began her duties with manager Mike Hunter while employed in Oklahoma. She batched feed, processed cattle and later became the receptionist. Rachel is responsible for answering calls, and all cattle activity while in the feed yard. Having worked outside in the yard she has a better understanding when computing daily feed, cattle sorts, shipments, hospital moves, ect. The oppurtunity to work for Thomas County Feeders allowed Rachel to move closer to her home town of Goodland, Ks and continue her employment under Mike Hunter. Rachel has an Associate of Science degree from Hutchinson Community College, and a bachelor of Agronomy, with a minor in Agriculture Business and Animal Science from Panhandle State University in Godwell, Ok. Rachel is a perfectionist when it comes to closing out cattle.
